Do you qualify as an Accredited Investor?

SEBI restricts Angel Fund participation to Accredited Investors. There are three routes and you only need to clear one. This works out which, if any, applies to you.

Your annual income as shown in your income tax return. 100 lakh = ₹1 crore.

Excluding the value of your primary residence.

Shares, mutual funds, bonds, deposits, insurance. Not property, not gold, not business assets.

Want this as a report you can keep?

We will email you which tests you meet and what accreditation involves. One email, sent because you asked for it.

Your email is used to send this report and nothing else unless you tick the box above. See the privacy notice or have it erased at any time.

This tool does not accredit you. Only a SEBI-recognised accreditation agency can issue an accreditation certificate, and they will want documentary proof — typically income tax returns and a chartered accountant's net worth certificate. This calculator only tells you whether it is worth starting that process.

Criteria are set by SEBI and may change. Verify current requirements before relying on them. Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is sent to us or stored.
