The rules of the road for using this website. Short, because it should be.
This website is operated by InvestMyCity, CIN ("InvestMyCity", "we", "us"). By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this website is
An information and introduction platform. It describes services we offer to businesses seeking capital and to investors, and provides free educational tools and guides.
What this website is not
- Not an offer. Nothing here is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security, and nothing is directed at the public. Securities may only be offered to identified persons through a private placement offer cum application letter under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2013.
- Not advice. We are not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser, Research Analyst, Portfolio Manager or Merchant Banker. Nothing here is investment, legal, accounting or tax advice or a personal recommendation.
- Not a deposit taker or lender. We do not accept deposits, do not hold or route investor funds, are not an RBI-registered NBFC, and do not operate a peer-to-peer lending platform.
- Not a distributor of financial products. We do not distribute mutual funds, insurance or any other financial product through this platform, and we earn no commission from any product manufacturer.
The free tools
The readiness scorecard, accreditation checker and dilution calculator are educational. They run entirely in your browser and we do not see what you enter unless you explicitly ask us to email you a result.
Their outputs are estimates based on what you type and general rules that change over time. A high readiness score is not a commitment by us to work with you, and the accreditation checker does not accredit you — only a SEBI-recognised accreditation agency can. Do not treat any output as advice or as a decision.
Accuracy
We try hard to keep the regulatory descriptions on this site correct and current, but law changes and errors happen. Nothing here should be relied on without your own professional advice. Where we describe our own status — what we are registered for and what we are not — we commit to keeping that accurate at all times.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information in any form you submit
- Do not use the site unlawfully, or to scrape, disrupt or gain unauthorised access
- Do not reproduce our content commercially without permission
- Keep confidential any non-public information about a business shared with you through the platform
Fees
Applying and being assessed are free. Readiness work is quoted and agreed in writing before it begins. Any success fee is agreed with the business upfront and disclosed to investors before they commit. Platform pricing shown on this site is indicative and nothing is currently on sale.
Risk
Investments in unlisted businesses are illiquid and carry a high degree of risk including total loss of capital. No return is promised, assured or indicated by us or by anyone on our behalf. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for investment losses, for decisions taken on the basis of information on this site, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.

Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Etawah, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
